	Bee Gees Way[ Locality map ] Redcliffe Parade, Redcliffe, 4020 In Redcliffe during the late 1950s, three young brothers gathered around a microphone and for the first time performed using a name now famous around the globe. The Peninsula is where it all started for the Bee Gees, with the group signing its first music contract on the kitchen table of their Scarborough home. In February, 2013 Barry Gibb and Moreton Bay Regional Council unveiled Bee Gees Way, located off Redcliffe Parade, Redcliffe, incorporating a life-size statue, 60 photographs, 13 album covers, a mural of the band as well as songs and captions provided by Barry Gibb.

	First Settlement Wall[ Locality map ] Redcliffe Parade, Redcliffe, 4020 On 1 September 1824 the brig Amity left Sydney to transport convicts and soldiers to the new settlement at Redcliffe. The settlers landed at Redcliffe Point on 14 September 1824 and established themselves between Humpybong Creek, Anzac Avenue and the beachfront. The memorial wall has been built with 50 tonnes of bluestones to a design representing the sails of the Amity. The wall was opened in September 1991 and features plaques giving details of the people of the First Settlement of 1824. The monument also honours the first inhabitants the Ningy Ningy clan of the Undambi tribe.
	HMQS Gayundah Wreck[ Locality map ] Gayundah Esplanade, Woody Point, 4019 Website: www.gayundah.vze.com At the foot of the Woody Point cliffs (opposite Filmer's Palace Hotel) lies the remains of HMQS (Her Majesty's Queensland Ship) Gayundah. She was one of the first ships built for the Queensland Colonial Navy. Now a wreck, she has a fascinating history for the people of Queensland and maritime enthusiasts everywhere. Janey Says: "I can remember clambering all over this wreck with my sister as kids. Gayundah is too far gone these days for such a dangerous pastime, but well worth a visit nevertheless."
	Hornibrook Highway Abutments[ Locality map ] Hornibrook Esplanade, Clontarf, 4019 The Hornibrook Bridge was opened on 14 October 1935, connecting Clontarf to Brighton. The bridge was a big part of everyday life on the Peninsular until its replacement in 1979 at which time it was closed to motorised traffic. In 2010, it was close completely before being demolished in 2011. The only remaining sections are the handsome art-deco concrete abutment arches at each end. At the Clontarf end, the original structure has been converted into a walkway and fishing platform.
	John Oxley Memorial[ Locality map ] 93 Marine Parade, Redcliffe, 4020 The monument commemorates Surveyor John Oxley who, on 5 December 1823 spent the afternoon exploring the Peninsula. It was on Oxley's subsequent recommendation that Red Cliff Point was chosen for the penal colony which was set up in September 1824. In mid 1825 the settlement was relocated from Redcliffe to the banks of the Brisbane River.

The Art Gallery Complex also provides opportunities for local artists and community groups to exhibit in both solo and group projects and has regular displays of the Council's art collection.

Located in the heart of Redcliffeâ€™s Cultural Precinct, this venue plays host to the civic functions of the City, it also houses a wide cross section of community organisations and arts activity. The Stage Door Gallery showcases the talents of Redcliffeâ€™s local and regional artists as well as specific exhibitions.
	Redcliffe Museum[ Locality map ] 75 Anzac Avenue, Redcliffe Website: www.moretonbay.qld.gov.au/redcliffe-museum/ Phone: (07) 3883 1898 The museum celebrates, documents and interprets Redcliffeâ€™s historic Peninsula and community, offering an intriguing insight into a unique region, its European history since 1799, its heritage as Queenslandâ€™s first European Settlement in 1824-25, its much older indigenous culture and its rich maritime history. Open: Tuesday to Sunday (10am - 4pm) Closed: Mondays, Christmas Day, Boxing Day, Good Friday and Easter Sunday. Open all other Public holidays, including Mondays (Anzac Day from 1pm - 4pm only).
	Sea Side Artists Gallery[ Locality map ] 133 Redcliffe Pde, Redcliffe, 4020 eMail: info@seasideartists.com.au Website: www.seasideartists.com.au/ Phone: (07) 3284 3356 Seaside Artsits Gallery is an exciting Queensland Art Gallery Space established in 2001 by Doug and Rosslyn Kennedy, whose four adult children are artists. The Gallery was opened primarily to display their work and expanded to include the works of other talented local artists with over 60 artists in a variety of mediums including oils, acrylics, pastels, watercolours, mixed mediums, pottery, sculpture, woodwork, jewellery, hand-made cards for all occasions, handcrafts, photography and digital photography. Janey Says: "This gallery combines two of my favourite things: art and old buildings! Once you have finished viewing the artworks, take the time to appreciate the building itself, almost a time-capsule from the 1940s. I especially love the original terrazzo and ceramic tile floor finishes throughout the building."
