Recliffe Festival of Sails

On Good Friday each year, Suttons Beach celebrates the start of the Brisbane to Gladstone Yacht Race with a colourful beachside bash.

The official race start is at 11:00am from Shorncliffe and with fair conditions, the race yachts should come into view at Suttons Beach at approximately 11.30am.

Apart from watching the yachts as they pass by on their way north, you will find heaps of other things to see and do at Suttons Beach, including:

• Easter egg hunt
• Easter Bunny parachute drop (weather dependent)
• art and craft stalls
• live music and dancing
• Beach Games
• Face Painting
• Amusement rides

Please be aware that parking at Suttons Beach is limited and you are urged to make use of the free parking and free shuttle bus service available at Redcliffe Showgrounds, Scarborough Road, Redcliffe.

The free shuttle service will be running continuously from 8:30am - 5:00pm between Redcliffe Showgrounds and the Festival site at Marine Parade.
